Paul David Marotta
Mr. Marotta is a senior partner with The Corporate Law Group, a law firm specializing in corporate, mergers, acquisitions, licensing and securities law representing public and private emerging growth companies. Mr. Marotta is admitted to the California Bar, Federal District Court for the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He attended The University of Southern California, and Pepperdine University School of Law where he received a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 1983. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi and a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Conflicts of Law. He was a member of the Editorial Board for The Business Law News and has authored several articles on securities law and areas of law of interest to emerging growth companies.
Simon Ho
President and Chief Technology Officer of ChildCareOne, Simon brings over 12 years of information technology
and financial expertise to CCO. Prior to founding CCO,
Simon served as Vice President of an Internet startup,
where he was the architect for the transaction process
and business rules. From 1988 to 1999 he held various
positions with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), including
various consulting projects for SAP implementation, and
establishing the consulting office for the PwC Shanghai
office in China. Simon holds an M.B.A. in Finance from
Emory University, a B.A. with honors in Computer Science
from Anderson University, and was a Certified Public
Accountant in the State of Georgia.
Ty Durekas
Vice President of Stategic Marketing of ChildCareOne, Ty brings extensive product strategy, design, and
implementation experience to CCO. His most recent
position was Global Marketing Manager at Applied
Materials where he launched Total Parts Management
(TPM™) as part of the Total Service Solutions products,
a fully integrated inventory management program with
yearly revenue in excess of $300 million. Before joinging
Applied Materials, he spent eight years developing
new products and key account strategies at Sony and
Johnson Matthey Electronics. In addition, Ty is also a
co-founder of Children's Creative Learning Centers with
seven childcare centers located in Northern California.
Ty received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from
San Jose State University, CA.
