ICRI is partnering with Huma Challenge/World Expeditions, a leading adventure travel companies with over 25 years of experience, to offer you the chance to travel with a purpose. Choose a trip from those highlighted below, or peruse other exciting itineraries here. Once you're signed up, we will give you all the tools you need to both fundraise for ICRI and prepare for your challenge.

  • costs go directly to the travel company with a 10% discount on trip fees (does not include international airfares)

  • Raised funds go directly to ICRI programs 

Travelling to a location in or near a country where ICRI operates? Optional 1 or 2 day extensions give you the opportunity to visit ICRI's programs and see how your fundraising dollars benefit children and families in need!

Trek the Great Wall, China In the Hebei Province, hosted by local families, we camp in exclusive locations and explore the Great Wall over seven days, trekking between villages. Vast and diverse scenery with one of the great wonders of the world as a backdrop surround us. In Beijing, we visit the capital’s major historic sites such as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the Summer Palace.  More Information→

Summit Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania Explorers around the world aspire to summit Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m), the highest peak in Africa. The ascent does not require any technical climbing, but the trails are demanding and a sound level of fitness and acclimatization abilities are essential prerequisites. From the alluring summit of Uhuru Peak (5895m), we will have amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding plains. An optional 2 day supplement at the end of your trek will take you to Kenya to visit ICRI's programs for children and families in Nairobi.  More Information→

First beginning in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, we experience four days of changing surroundings. We then ascend into cloud forest as we make our way to Machu Picchu. Rather than heading back to Cusco we spend a night in Aguas Calientes, giving us an opportunity to visit Machu Picchu in the early morning.  More Information→
